PA Solar Ground Mount, LLC is based in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and operates as a division of US Solar Development, Inc. US Solar Development, Inc designs, engineers and installs large commercial solar projects across the mid Atlantic region.
PA Solar Ground Mount was founded in 2020, to serve more customers in our home state of Pennsylvania. Our founder had previously started and ran one of PA’s largest residential solar companies from 2009-2017, with over 500 PA solar installations, prior to starting his own business.
We provide a unique, high-quality product Solar Ground Mount product to a market segment that has been inadequately served by existing solutions/companies. We have vast experience in ground-mounted solar systems, and we’ve leveraged that knowledge to provide proven systems that are built to last and exceed expectations.
Our founder, Dylan Kautz, has an unmatched track record in all foundation methods for solar ground mounts. The first systems in 2009 featured concrete piers, which the majority of installers still use today. Our founder was one of the first to engineer system designs with unique foundations such as helical piles, grounds screws, and pounded steel posts, incorporating the best designs for both commercial and residential projects based on the unique site conditions. He also purchased an industrial post-pounding machine and provided installation and testing for solar racking manufacturers for utility-scale ground mounts as far west as Missouri.
On the residential side of the business, Dylan has sold and constructed over 100 grounded mounted solar arrays in Pennsylvania. His unrivaled solar construction knowledge and capability sets us apart.
Dylan Kautz: Dylan has sold, designed, and constructed over 500 solar installations since 2009. Previously, Dylan started and ran one of PA’s largest solar companies through a family general contracting and roofing business in 2009. In 2017, he founded US Solar Development, Inc in 2017 to specialize in commercial rooftop solar installations, installing systems in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and Washington DC. He holds the highest qualification in the solar industry, as a NABCEP certified Solar PV Installation Professional since 2013.
